Seeing as loungewear is the only thing we’re wearing right now…
Here at Sunday Luxe we can hardly contain ourselves at yet another feature, this time in one of our all-time favourite publications Marie Claire.
The response from the media and fashion magazines have been so encouraging during this launch phase, we started out with a simple idea of creating loungewear that delivered more comfort, more style, more longevity, more practicality and more quality. We saw a huge gap in the market and wanted to create a product for ourselves, our friends and the successful women we knew who also struggled to find good quality, smart loungewear that lasted through washes and stood the test of time. It seems like there were a lot of women out there who also demand more from their loungewear judging from the coverage we have received in a little under 3 months since launching!
Our feature in Marie Claire is by one of those fashion journalists you discover and consequently consume anything they’ve ever written – Penny goldstone.
As Penny’s article Seeing as loungewear is the only thing we’re wearing right now, here’s the best of it, states at this point it seems ‘the only thing worth investing in right now is the very best in loungewear’. We couldn’t agree more Penny!
And just before the article goes on to feature our best-selling Patricia cardigan, it explains that shopping stats show that loungewear is the single most popular retail category right now with some of the bigger players like Vestiaire and Net-A-Porter seeing an increase in sales for loungewear of up to 70%. We can believe it and personally can’t remember the last time we wore anything else.
But for a beautiful loungewear set that will last way beyond the trend and the lockdown period we don’t think you can do much better than Sunday Luxe. And trust us, we’ve shopped around.
