We love, love, love that so many people out there are enjoying the Sunday Luxe brand and can’t believe how fast our customer count is growing - yet it always bring us such a sense of accomplishment when fashion experts get in touch. Whether it’s stylists, fashion editorial teams or fellow fashion founders it really does hit home that we have a successful brand that people want to wear!
We were beyond thrilled when Drapers got in touch to write an article about Sunday Luxe. Drapers has been the leading authority on fashion retailing in the UK for decades and a publication that we’ve come back to time and time again during our previous corporate jobs at fashion magazines like Marie Claire, Grazia and InStyle. We had both worked closely with editorial who used Drapers to cross check trend reports and key insights within the fashion industry to bring readers the latest news.
For those who aren’t familiar with Drapers, think of it like the UK manual for all things fashion – where those within the industry look for data to back up their predictions on upcoming trends, designers and clothing.
During the interview we chat about how we used the UK 2020/21 lockdown to create and bring Sunday Luxe to life and why we believe the loungewear trend is here to stay long after lockdown rules are scrapped.
We also go into detail about our plans for 2022 and beyond plus how we think Sunday Luxe fits into the future of fashion in relation to sustainability and the slow fashion movement.
